The planet’s oceans are the birthplace of all life. It makes sense that the health giving properties of its aqueous mineral solution (known as seawater) and the plants that live in it would be imbued with life sustaining elements. Even our blood mimics the mineral composition of ocean water.

Eidon BSE (Brown Seaweed Extract) is a pure whole food supplement made from the brown seaweed Laminaria, better known as kelp.  It is ecologically harvested in the remote, pristine ocean waters of Patagonia and is concentrated utilizing a highly specialized cold temperature extraction process.

Current research on brown seaweed shows that it contains all the known mineral elements found in the ocean including Iodine, Selenium, Calcium and Potassium, as well as vitamins, including B-12. BSE is known to support the  thyroid gland, due to the significant amount of Iodine and Selenium it contains.

BSE is a storehouse for immune enhancing *fucoidan (Fucoxanthin). The most active ingredient in Fucoidan is fucose, which is a sulfated polysaccharide (complex sugar molecule) that is very important for its function in communication between cells via glycoproteins and glycolipids.

*Fucoxanthin is a fat soluble carotenoid similar to lutein or lycopene found in several edible varieties of seaweed, including kelp or kombu (Laminaria species).

BSE is processed and packaged in the United States. Each bottle contains 90 capsules – 500mg each.
